I'm delighted that you've decided to join the Thesis Co-Working Group. I'm deeply committed to supporting you in achieving your goal of completing and submitting your thesis as part of your vision for your personal life and your career.
There are two components of the Thesis Co-Working Group model. The first includes involves holding space for you via a weekly 90-minute co-working session on Zoom. This time is designed to provide a vehicle for providing personal and social accountability. While there is no training or other content provided during these sessions, studies have shown that there is "magic" in co-working with others that results in greater productivity.
The second aspect leverages my coaching and online research skills to provide you with a curated thesis resources hub where you'll find tools, strategies, tips, and motivational messages to support you along the way. I'll be adding new resources each week, based on my own research and imput from group members on what they need.
As the host of this Thesis Co-working Group, you can expect me to:
1. Be a partner in providing resources to research and/or write more efficiently;
2. Provide safety, encouragement and support; an environment in which you can relax and explore;
3. Respect the confidentiality of all group members; and
4. Be an on-going resource for you in accomplishing your goal of completing and submitting your thesis.
I expect that you, as a member of the Thesis Co-working Group will:
1. Cultivate a core honesty and accountability with yourself;
2. Commit yourself to setting realistic goals and doing your best to meet them;
3. Take ownership of your progress and your accomplishments;
4. Maintain the confidentiality of all members of the group; and
5. Show up, for yourself and for other members of the group.

You will also be invited to join a private Facebook community for the group members where you can ask questions, and share resources, wins, and challenges. Again, all members are expected to adhere to the group rules, including being kind and supportive, maintaining confidentiality within the group, and not posting objectional comments.
